PHX is the creative outlet of Jake Buckley (b. May 28, 1989), pianist, self-taught guitarist and music enthusiast. Initially created as an experiment in simple channel overdubbing in February 2006, PHX has evolved from a collection of low-quality acoustic covers into a computer-generated music source.

The first original material from PHX was authored between April 2007 and January 2008; it was released as “Symphaesm“ on February 17, 2008. Since April 2008 PHX has created over 15 new tracks. 11 of these appear on the latest album “Neutral Eyes (The Burn)”, released on August 8, 2008.
